Production Manager
Oversee and manage the overall operations of stores, under a clustering, in terms of sales targets, implementation of business programs and people management through guided controls and specifications as imposed by the company.
Job Duties
PRODUCTION OPERATIONS
1 Arrange, Control and Implement production schedule in order to accommodate demand / order by identifying required manpower, machine, materials and methods
2 Sets, Regulates and Monitor production work flow and activities
3 Monitor, Record and Analyze report on productivity, rejections, material consumption and delivery; and provide corrections / improvements on production set-up, method and / or procedure
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, DISTRIBUTION AND WAREHOUSING
1 Check and Monitor required stock level of raw materials packaging materials and finished goods according to specified holding time and storage capacity
2 Provide update on materials stock level and inventories based on consumption / movement in order to avoid stock out
3 Suggest and Recommend monitoring control over receiving, material handling and storage
4 Supervise and Monitor delivery schedule in order to ensure distribution of finished goods according to specified time and quantity
5 Execute plan on delivery / route scheme based on load factor for more efficient and effective schedule

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, DISTRIBUTION AND WAREHOUSING

QUALITY MANAGEMENT, EQUIPMENT CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1 Recommend and provide effective monitoring tools to ensure product quality
2 Review and evaluate customer complaints and provide action plan / corrective actions in order to reduce if not zero out complaints
3 Implement of quality improvement programs, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure and Good Manufacturing Practices gearing toward Total Quality Management and HACCP certification
4 Countercheck conformance of production personnel on Standard pre and post operational procedure on proper care and maintenance of equipment and machine
5 Report, record and evaluate machine malfunction and breakdown
6 Inspect Pre and Post Operational conducted by production personnel on Machine
KRA IV ADMINISTRATIVE. REPORTING AND QUALITY DOCUMENTATION
1 Suggest and Recommend plan on work simplification, process innovation and improvement of production operations for better quality and profitability by reviewing and validating production flow
2 Validate and provide update on production operations manual and production protocols according to the FMPS by monitoring actual production run
3 Countercheck, Monitor and Validate compliance of production personnel on Standard Process and Parameters by performing actual checking data on monitoring forms against production run / machine
4 Investigate conformance to set Standard Operating Procedure, Production Process and Parameters, and other guidelines and procedure
5 Suggest and Recommend monitoring tools to ensure control over production operations, set-ups, method and systems improvements
6 Manage Production personnel performance according to specified measures for productivity and efficiency, advancement, delivery product quality and documentation
7 Identify, Determine, Develop and Provide training to production personnel on any changes, improvements or new systems in the workplace
ADMINISTRATIVE. REPORTING AND QUALITY DOCUMENTATION
8 Implement set rules and regulations, Policies and guidelines
and provide counseling / coaching, reward / reprimand personnel for non-compliance
9 Recommend on personnel decision on transfer, hiring / firing promotion / demotion merit increases of employees based on performance
10 Communicate with production personnel on related issues on production operation, customer complaints, new policies and the likes by conducting staff / sectional meeting
11 Assists Production Manager 2 in reviewing manufacturing organizational structure and suggest ways on proper deployment and manpower allocation
12 Provide schedule of production personnel according to report time, work assignment / production grouping according to approved production schedule and number of manpower as well as timekeeping
13 Submit production report with analysis to Manager 2 on productivity, yield and recovery, rejections and other opportunities encountered per shift
14 Provide reports and documentation in order to update and inform status of projects, programs
15 Consolidate and Analyze production output reports / checklist, material consumption provided by production personnel and recommend simplified procedure, process and systems for improvement
16 Coordinate with internal and external organizations through memos, reports and other forms of documents
Requirements
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/BS Food Tech or equivalent.
- Very keen to details, flexible, and can work under pressure
- With experience in the Food Manufacturing industry and a deep understanding of GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000
- With ISO and Quality Management System Background is advantage.
- With SAP experience is advantage
- Has relevant Managerial experience preferably in food manufacturing.
- Must be knowledgeable in process improvement and continuous improvement preferably with lean manufacturing experience.
