RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER 1
The Research and Development Officer I conducts a thorough study to develop or to improve a product and determine product specifications, production costs and a production time line.
Job Duties
- Excellent in Cooking, Baking and Pastry Making.
- Establish standards and specification of raw materials.
- Accredit suppliers of raw materials/ingredients.
- Establish the procedure in making the product.
- Simplify/Improve existing process.
- Determine and establish storage, handling requirements and shelf life.
- Conduct sensory evaluation.
Requirements
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, HRM, or Equivalent.
- With at least 1 year experience in the field of Food Research and Development.
- Knowledgeable in Cooking and Baking is an advantage.
- Must be result oriented. With good analytical skills.
